Cliff House in Fort Bragg

Will not be coming again. Service was terrible, we didn't have a single server come to our table to ask if we needed anything after we got our food and had to go up to the bar to ask for refills and for our check. We watched people walk out because they were seated for over 20 minutes before they even asked if they wanted drinks. Our steaks were paper thin and had no flavor and everything else tasted like nothing but rosemary. I will say the servers were very friendly WHEN they interacted with us.

Our reservation was for 7, we got there at 6:10  we were greeted by this young man who was very nice and personable. Told him our reservation was at 7 but asked if we can sit at the bar and have some drinks until then. The bar was full so we sat on this little couch which I'm assuming is just a waiting area. The staff did not even acknowledged us. No smile, no hi, no would you like a menu or something to get you started. Others that came in after us and also sat on the other seats were offered a menu and attentive service. 7:25 rolls around and we are finally seated. Sat there for another 18 minutes before our server even knew she had our table. We ordered our food and our meal was around $33 each. Made reservations at the Cliff House as it sounded like one of the nicer restaurants around Mendocino. It was a little old but OK.  Crystal was our server and she was extremely nice and informative. My husband had a tall gin and tonic which he said was pretty good and I had two old fashions which were very good. The pricing on the drinks were extremely reasonable compared to some places...
