El Espolon was great. It was very busy, but we were seated very quickly. Food was great and our Server was extremely exceptional. Definitely a restaurant we will go back to whenever in the Sedalia Missouri area.

Sedalia has become, for a variety of reasons, a small Mexican version of Kansas City's barbecue ecosystem or St. Louis' Italian ecosystem. The small city has a disproportionate number of excellent and authentic Mexican restaurants and taquerias. They are owned and staffed by people knowledgeable and passionate about the cuisine of their native or ancestral country. El Espolon is one of the anchors of the city's offerings, with excellent food and service reflective of that status.
