Was in Algoma for a family vacation. Most of the restaurants in Algoma was closed for the season so the first night we were lucky to find FishTale. The bartender was super friendly and asked us where we were from and got our drinks. She found out we weren't from Wisconsin so insisted we try the cheese curds. They were HUGE and yummy. The dippy sauce was legit too. She told us to try the Wellington burger! It tasted like steak but make sure you bring your appetite cause they serve big portions here. We even got some post Packers shot...Incredible Hulks! Def go here if you're in Algoma or passing

This is a quintessential cool restaurant in a small, pretty town. The place has a nice vibe to it and comes to its best over the weekends with all the vibrant tourist crowds. We stopped at Algoma for a night on our way to the door county this fall and loved this place. Thanks to the nice server lady for recommending the shark bite starter which was without a doubt the highlight of the meal and went well with the chilled beer! Also we ordered the ale house pizza which was prepared to perfection, so no complaints there either. We'd definitely like to come back if we're in the area in future!
