Gilligan's Clam Bar in Pomona

Today I brought my son and father in-law to Gilligan's because I've been craving Surf & Turf for about two weeks. Gilligan's was the place to go HANDS DOWN!! The food was awesome but what tops it off is the service, we were attended to by our waitress Kim. Talk about top-of-the-line customer service! Her patience with my elderly father in-law was amazing and her knowledge of the menu was extensive. Our glasses were always filled with water and the beer was always replenished on time. Kim made sure to come back to us often to check in to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. So when you go to Gilligan's, ask for Kim, her service is just as good as the meal itself.

The food was honestly amazing although my waitress got it wrong even though we asked her nicely that she got it wrong she was mad and went to the manager to complain about us. We tried to explain to her but I think she didn't understand us because she was smiling and also giving us a mad look. Tried Gilligan's Clam Bar for the first time on friday with two friends who are lobster fans. They got the lobster dinner for two which seemed like a good value. Comes in a pot loaded with broth with Clams and Mussels. The meal also included bread and a nice starter salad. We got a pitcher of white Sangria that was quite good and gave us about 3 glasses each. I opted for a broiled Artic char with the teriyaki glaze. It was good also coming with a salad and choice of sides. I got baked potato and veggies. I love how the veggies  carrots, brocolli and squash were fresh and al dente. The service really lacked. The waitress was nice but seemed unfocused. We asked for water which we never got, had to flag down a bus boy to get the water and clear the table of dishes and shells as the lobster was eaten. I would not go here for the service but the food was good. The restaurant seemed loud with a lot of families around which was fine as the kids were well behaved. The waitress was also pushing for dessert at the end of the meal. I could not eat another bite! Oh yes I was told about getting a BINGO number. We never got that another overs...
