We were on the local UNC campus and had HOMEGROWN recommended to us. We were seriously surprised at just how great the food here is. We will definitely come back. Served fast. You order off a blackboard, pay the bill, take a number on a small pedestal to put on your table, and sit down. The food came very fast!!

Near perfect. When approaching HomeGrown the sign is faded and it looks like a hole in the wall, do not let this intimidate you. The food and staff perfectly hit the atmosphere of how they describe themselves on their website and on google. Slow cooking at its highest level. The effort is visible upon close inspection of the love they put into their craft from the food to the interior design. This restraunt executes on its promises.Near perfect as I would play with the spice on a maybe a few items but but not too much. In Ashville this is a must.
