We stopped for lunch on our travels through West Texas based on reviews. The food and service was great and prices very reasonable. We enjoyed the novelty of being in a school cafeteria. I totally disagree with previous negative reviews about it being cafeteria food. There are a few classic cafeteria type menu items, but they are a tribute to the setting and in the minority of a large number of other menu items. They also offer a large selection of sides for the sandwiches.My wife had the fried bologna sandwich, since it is not something we see anywhere else. I had the Patty Melt and both were very tasty.

Unpretentious, delicious food, made with love. Stopped in on a roadtrip and had our best meal nationwide. The staff are very nice and the food is great. Loved the fried green tomatoes and the cole slaw, and especially loved the ranchero chicken-fried-steak brunch (see pic). We would definitely go out of our way to come back again. Thanks Kelley Cafe!
