Haven't been here in a really long time. We were searching for a Friday fish fry and wanted a dog friendly place as well. After driving around to 3 places that don't let dogs in (even tho they have patios) plus calling several other restaurants and almost giving up, pulled into Kelsey Road House. Wow. First of all, needs a facelift but the owners are moving and it's up for sale. A little overgrown path takes you to an outdoor large, really large 2 acre ish grassy area well spread out with rugs under the tables (with umbrellas). Very welcoming and super friendly service. Sam was great! Yes the menu is daunting bc it's so big, but our eyes were on the fish fry. Holy cow. Best fish fry. Ever! Huge and thick pieces of beer battered cod, very light, just perfect. And this is coming from someone who has extensively researched the area's fish fries! Our Golden Lula was very happy. People from the connecting enclosed patio (open year round- what a bonus)- started coming out with their fur balls and chatting with us. So friendly! BTW, the enclosed area that's screened also accepts dogs. These are owners who really bow to their pets. Lula got a bowl of water and I was...
