The ice cream is always good. But I have been here several times for the fried chicken sandwich. One time it will be a frozen patty. The next time it's a fresh chicken patty. The inconsistency sucks!

Mac's is by far the best ice cream in Watervliet, NY. Try their Chocolate S'mores, hugh chucks of chocolate, marshmallows and pieces of graham crackers. I moved to Clifton Park 2 years ago, but this is so good, it's worth the trip. Enjoy it under the side canopy with picnic tables.

Fantastic soft serve. Light, creamy, and luscious -- they've totally nailed the texture. Flavor is good too, the chocolate has some good cocoa depth. They're super nice but be aware, it's not necessarily the place to go for a last minute dashing-since-they're-closing-soon dessert; they tend to close 10 or 15 minutes before the stated time.
