We love Pita WayWe have been coming here for several years. Even after moving away from Anderson, we always make sure to go to Pita Way whenever we are in town. We are vegetarian, and in a small town dominated by Barbecue and fast food/chain restaurants, Pita Way is a breath of fresh air. The food is always hot and prepared just the way we like it. I love the hummus, and if you've never tried the cauliflower wrap I recommend it. The cauliflower is fried but not breaded, and is deliciously savory. The veggie wrap is also a regular favorite. The building itself is a little unusual looking, but it's an open kitchen and you can see your food being prepared from start to finish in small, fresh batches. The owner is such a nice person. He's there most days by himself taking the orders, cleaning the tables, AND cooking all the food. He does everything. He's not the most talkative person, but you can tell this restaurant and his customers mean a lot to him.

I usually get fries on the side (which he seasons very well), however you can also get a Greek salad on the side which is banging as well.I haven't had much else on the menu, but this little place is definitely worth the visit!! You'd be surprised by the quality of the food! And the Greek man is always there! Very quiet, but also very kind as well and giving. English isn't his first language but he does a very good job at taking orders and doing special requests, stuff like that. His food speaks...
