Rancho Bar in Altadena

BY FARRRRRRRRRR. The nastiest bar tender I've ever met in my life. I came inside to have a nice beer before work, told her I was just killing some time. She rudely told me she was not open for 5 more minutes I said oh absolutely fine I'll wait. She then ID me and then after was randomly  sooo rude, and then asked me to wait outside because "it was her time" well kiss your tip goodbye. Heard this place closed down for awhile , surprised it opened back up.

This place should change their hours. The older lady was super rude and told her us she didn't want us in there on "her time". 5 MIN BEFORE "opening " AND THE DOORS WERE OPEN Yelp said open at 11, she said they opened at 2.  Overall, super unprofessional and we were looking forward to trying this place out. She could definitely be nicer to customers next time. If I could give zero starts, I would . The disrespect was beyond anything I've experienced. Big shout out to el patron up the street for making her ugly visit into an amazing day!

While enjoying dinner and drinks in another Altadena area establishment, several of the Rancho Bar customers came in to also enjoy the place. Soon as they saw me, we all entered a conversation about the Rancho Bar and how rude this one bartender is. I believe her name is Phyliss. The very same bartender that was rude and discriminating to me. We all went on for nearly 20 minutes sharing our experiences about this particular bartender, that the owner trust to cover shifts at this bar and who also claims is a personal friend. Just to be clear, I did not start the conversation about this bar or bartender, these other 5 customers did and I shared the experience that I endured and the responses I received.
