This was our 273rd BBQ stop across 31 states, the sixth in Mississippi. There's no sign out front, and the shack is set far back from the highway, on the east side. But it's there, between the Marathon station and the Dixie Mart. Look behind the ALFA building.For $35.80, we received a half rack of ribs, a brisket sandwich, sides of baked beans and coleslaw, and a banana pudding. The ribs are very meaty, and do separate cleanly at the bite, but the texture is a bit mushy. The house sauce that is laced with bits of onion enhanced the flavor profile. There's a lot of chopped brisket in the sandwich, and it's good on its own albeit a bit too salty for our taste. Howev...
