Hidden charges beware . $2.60 for a cup of coffee? Ridiculous. Also I was asked by waiter if I wanted to pay for chips and salsa that were on my table, he charged me for 3 baskets. We were a group of ten that had arrived for lunch after a funeral . I was charged a "service charge of 18%. I ordered a child's chicken quesadilla because I have gastric sleeve and can't eat an adult meal. An extra dollar for that!!! My total for a childrens quesadilla and 3 sopaipillas $38.48. ...

Local to Los Alamos (from Chicago) - and we head down to Sopaipilla Factory in Pojoaque weekly. Place is so CLEAN! Food is always great; they have a well-priced and varied menu, lovely outdoor dining, and great staff! Even the salads are excellent and super-fresh. Sometimes you have to wait a bit to be seated, but that's what can happen at a good restaurant!Hint: if you sit outside, go in first to make sure someone knows you're there to eat. Lots of pick-up orders and people happily loitering after a meal make it hard for staff, especially when bustling, to know who is waiting for menus otherwise. To the cranky reviews about speed of service: Service Personnel work hard and try their best. Expect to wait at busy times, and even help by letting them know you're there.
