Cooks matter in order for food to taste good well the food is nothing to brag about. Houston Mexican restaurants in general the food is not good.

Yes, I am of Mexican Origin. Yes, I know my way around the kitchen. You can cook for me if you want to but you're doing the dishes too. I'll gladly cook for you, but I want you to want to do the dishes. I don't apologize for that, life isn't fair. If you want a delicious Mexican meal, freshly made tortillas, served by lovely senoritas, and not have to worry about the dishes then your favorite will be Taquería La Favorita. I've been a customer since before the new colorful and spacious building. When it felt like abuelitas kitchen, there was always a line, and as you walked in/out the front door you could watch the freshly made tortillas being made. It was so small that if you have a behind (i.e. badonkadonk, nalgas) it swiped the top of the few tables you squeezed...
