BANGING CRABCAKES!! The waitress wasn't very attentive but the food was amazing and the atmosphere was great!

We have dined here many many times over the last 5 years and have become pretty familiar with the menu. One of my favorites is an APPETIZER of bacon-wrapped scallops, usually around $11-12.I was shocked to see that they are now $15.95!!!!!And a SINGLE crab cake is $29.95????

This was the worst seafood sampler I’ve ever had in my life. Bland and gross. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the cream of crab soup was good and the staff was nice. We were there for an early dinner but still, I think I know why the only other people in there we’re elderly - because they can’t taste as well!

Place was slow yet took several minutes for waiter to greet us. He was busy talking with a group of servers. The waiter was friendly and nicebut not trained well. He didn't know what a loaded baked potato was and brought my salad out with my dinner a ameture mistake. I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. Very greasey and small not worth the $20 for 4 .Broiled scallops were very good cooked perfect. Most disturbing was the black mold all over the ceiling tiles in mens bathroom. Just no excuse for that . That's why 3 stars.

Ate here once never been back I guess it was a flop with my parents maybe we will try it again idk

Great food always

A diverse menu and everything was great. A+ on the coconut shrimp, crab cake and orange roughy. Sides were perfect complements. Service was exceptional, despite our arriving at closing time. We now plan to make this a regular dinner stop  Highly recommend!

3 of us ordered fish dinners. 2 orange roughy and mine was Rock Fish. The service was as outstanding as the food. Everything was exceptional and I am definitely going back! I'm telling family and friends about this great restaurant!!

Worst meal I’ve had in a long time.Food was bland, tasteless, and expensive. The chef has no idea what he or she is doing. No flavor in anything except the crab cakes which were probably made by someone outside the kitchen. Outdated menu and decor.This place desperately needs a visit from Robert Irvine or Gordon Ramsey.

Wonderful place. Cozy atmosphere l, polite and courteous staff. Food came out correctly hot and on time. Highly recommended.

Even though the Bayou can't get back to full occupancy, it is every bit as good as it always was.

Great food at reasonable prices. The restaurant has a nice ambience. The owners and staff are cordial, knowledgeable and professional. This was our 7th time eating at The Bayou; the 8th time is around the corner!

Wonderful as always! Waitress was very attentive. We had the crab bisque which was tasty with lots of crabmeat.

Not alot to choose from on the menu. Our waitress was kinda "meh".. My husband is a ordained minister, he has tattoos from his past and they actually came up to him in middle of our dinner started small talk and then said " are you a priest?" He said no, I'm ordained minister. She then said oh okay cause everyone was wondering cause of your tattoos...To me that was disrespect, doesn't matter to them who or what we were or wore or looked etc, it was our Valentine's day dinner and that just through us through a loop!!! The food was amazing though that's the only reason why I gave it three stars.

A nice family restaurant the the locals eat in often.

The food was delicious and hot, cooked to order. The cakes are what we went for, but the shrimp, oysters, scallops are superb . The family friendly atmosphere was a plus

Stumbled upon this place on a night time drive. Enjoyed the food and ambiance. Great place for the price and good staff. Not a long wait for food .

Still the best crab cakes and crab imperial in MD. The homemade pies are also the best around!

My wife I have been dinning at The Bayou Restaurant for years. I held her 50th Birthday party there. Great food and Lou (owner) is a good man. I own a copier company (Business Machines Service Sales Supplies) and have serviced Lou's office equipment since 1997 all my dealings have been good both as a customer and a vendor.

My burger and oysters were great. However this is not a Cajun food place. No Cajun dishes on menu.

Great place to celebrate a milestone birthday!

Exceptional broiled lump Crab Cakes. Every small forkful is a mouth full of indulgence. Just right Cole slaw and delicious desserts. Coconut shrimp was a tad dry.Interior is seasoned dark and woody.

Had a great anniversary dinner here. Awesome crab cake and fried shrimp combo. The shrimp were excellent and looked to be hand breaded. The restaurant is classy and has a nice atmosphere. First time here. Will definitely return.

Honestly the best restaurant I’ve been to in a long time! Food was absolutely amazing! Great and helpful staff also! This is going to be our new regular spot!

Super disappointed. First time dining at Bayou and it was our anniversary. The server was attentive, but didn’t offer us bread. Being our first time there we assumed no bread service until we saw other tables getting it after we already had our meal. The turkey was good but they served instant mashed potatoes that tasted like water. It was our first and last visit.
