Very despondent service. We arrived ahead to wait for a while at the host’s front desk, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy and there were plenty of staff. We asked the host, who was chit-chatting with the bartender without any sense that customers should be the priority in a service business, if he could sit us and he told us to wait some more. For a restaurant that is not some in and out diner, it was very surprising. We left and won’t be coming back.

Good food but all the doors were open and it was pretty chilly. And they wouldn’t close any of them for some reason. Wait staff wore jackets. But very good food!

I wanted to like the Townhouse but I would not recommend it. It's disorganized and the service is poor.Last week we went at 7:30pm without a reservation. We were told they were sold out for the evening and to come back another day.We made a reservation and returned on a Friday night. The host was great but the server was terrible! We were seated and served 3 glasses of water from the busser while we waited for the server. The server finally came almost 30 minutes after we were seated!The server had 10 tables but only 5-6 tables were filled. The server was getting one drink at a time for 2-3 of the tables.The host came back and got us more water and the server.We ordered bread immediately since we were starving but it never came. The server got more rounds of drinks for the other 2 tables and then served our 2 drinks 20 minutes later with an appetizer.The entrees arrived but the sides were mixed up from what was listed on the menu. The meats were good but did not wow us especially at $75 a person price point.The bussers offered better service and even apologized to us and other tables.We over heard the staff was drinking and that may have been the problems for the mix up at our table and others.This restaurant is a mess and we left disappointed.
