I came here maybe 4 years ago and wasn't too impressed with the beer as it was a little bland. Decided to come back. There were 2 bartenders, the one who served us was fairly rude and I had to repeat myself a couple of times. We just ordered the Beckett's Irish Red Ale. It was okay, fairly light but still a little lacking. Open garage concept and seating inside and out and there is some parking available. Other bartender was friendly and talkative and I noticed that he had a great rapport with all the other customers. Still a little disappointed in the brewery itself but a decent environment for pups and you can bring your own food as well.

I love this place, however, they need a lot more tables especially for trivia night. There is a running group that comes and takes up more than a quarter of the entire place and doesn't even drink which leaves us stuck and can't play or just standing at random locations.

New District Brewing is perfectly located near trails to enjoy a post workout beer. The staff member was beyond friendly and talkative, which I really enjoyed! The outdoor seating is very limited so I would certainly prepare in advanced and be mindful of it. I tried the Potomac paddleboarder. Great logo and taste.
