Delicious and great service! I went for the burnt ends and ended up also getting the fried catfish, ribs, Mac and cheese, and smoked beans. The collard greens were also fantastic.

It's been a while since I've written a review, but my family and I had such a great experience at Nexus Blue Smokehouse that it deserved my two cents. First I would like to address the excellent customer service and hospitality. The two team members that were on staff at the front of the house Saturday deserve the biggest kudos. Not only were they very friendly, but they frequently checked in on my family and I the entire visit. And not in an annoying fashion, but we had mentioned this was our first time and they treated us like family. If the food had been just okay, the customer service would have been enough to keep me as a returning customer. As for the BBQ, it was pretty delicious. I had the two meat combo in which I ordered the brisket and pulled pork. Everyone at the table enjoyed the brisket the most. It was tender, moist, and very flavorful. The pulled pork was also very tasty and paired well with their house made sweet sauce. Now I'm a huge sucker for fried okra and Nexus has LEGIT fried okra. The okra had the perfect amount of breading and were hot and crispy when served. I also had a side of Mac and cheese which had a nice toasted crumble on top and underneath the noodles were cooked perfect and the cheese was gooey and didn't dry up as it cooled down. The fam also shared a small side of ribs that were two thumbs up. The seasoning on the ribs had a little heat which I enjoyed. Overall, I definitely recommend Nexus Blue Smokehouse. We went during the lunch rush on Saturday afternoon and had the best customer service.
