Everything, from the food to the decor, was so delicate, authentic, and homely. It was my first time having toro mixed with raw quail egg which it was creamy and delightful. Chirashi was packed with a variety of fish so there's never a boring bite. The inclusion of snow crab was a wonderful choice. The curry tastes as beautiful as it looks. Pork was crispy and curry sauce was flavorful.

Everything tasted so good. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was on top of everything. It had such a warm and homey feel to it and it was very obvious the food was made with attention and care. I really recommend the gindara and seafood platter.

Finally a place that makes a decent Japanese Curry in Houston. I love Japanese Curry and I've been searching around Houston for years to find a Japanese restaurant that serves it. Finally discovered Nippon and was eager to try. And happy I did! It was perfection. Super large portion too! We came of a Saturday night when the temperature was starting to get balmy and cool. Parking was a pain. Literally grabbed the last spot, but if parking is full I'm not sure where you can go. We were able to secure a nice table on the outdoor terrace, which I'd recommend since inside can get a bit tight. Service was prompt and friendly.
