What’s the best way to start off a review of a great dining experience? Should I mention the friendly host or the personable waitress Shannon or the incredible tasting dinners we enjoyed? What a treat and the portions were what so many reviews had indicated…large. The prices were reasonable and dinner included delicious warm bread along with a house or Caesar salad or soup. You will enjoy the experience as so many of the locals do. Side note - the sauce was spectacular.I would strongly recommend Nonno’s to everyone!

We finally tried Nonno's Italian restaurant last night in Altamonte Springs. Shared a carafe of the homemade sangria and it was delicious. We then started with the antipasta board and bread, followed by soup and salad. Finally for the main course we had the spicy seafood and linguini special and chicken picatta. Everything was perfect and you could tell from the moment entering that this was a true mom and pop turning out classic and fresh Italian cuisine. The nonno himself came out to greet us while waiting for our table, our server was friendly and very attentive and we just can't wait to go back!
