I hadn't been to this location in years, when it was called something else. But last Friday we were interested in trying a new wine bar and made some calls. I was trying Italian restaurants with a small bar in the area but couldn't get anyone on the phone. But Novello picked up, and the nice gal on the phone said she would hold 2 spots at the bar for us. We showed up and the place was packed! We pushed our way through the crowd and made it to beautiful oaken bar they have, and sure enough, there were our 2 spots held. The bartender gave a quick hello and she was swamped with drink orders. But she quickly circled back to us and got us a couple glasses of wine. Impressively she rattled off about a dozen specials. There was so many options but I settled on the broccoli rabe and my gal got a pretty cool salad. Both were really good, as we shared our small dishes. It was a great spot to sit; the piano player was right behind us. He was playing lots of fun standards and even took a couple requests. He was never too loud but you could always here the tunes gently in the background. It was a successful 1st visit, and we are sure to be back very soon.

We had an amazing, elegant evening with fantastic food and service! The pear-stuffed pasta was a crowd-pleaser and the pesce di Zuppa di Pesce some of the best we've ever had. The tiramisu is extremely good!
Outstanding Dinning Experience- Every ingredient is homemade and fresh. every aspect of every dish I have had there is executed perfectly. The Veal Chop- 10 out of 10. Octopus, Fantastic. Try the Meatball- you wont be disappointed. Staff is very friendly and the service is out of this world. Thank You
