We were traveling from Texas to Michigan and stumbled across this restaurant. They have their meat smoking and rub down to a science. Drinks are served in Ball Mason jars and the staff are kind, funny, and attentive. 100% recommend stopping by

Recently visited and will do so again. I loved the food, but we did think our portions were on the smaller side(mainly in the sides).

Nowhere on Route 66 Health Score 73 out of 100 Reviewed August 31, 2017 Well when you walk up to the front door, you kind of wonder what you are in for. The outside looks a pretty much like the rest of the town of Afton. The inside is unique too! It is a small bar and grill. Hold your judgement until you try the food. I had the Fire Cracker sandwich and my wife had the pulled pork dinner. The firecracker sandwich was 6 oz. beef burger with a generous amount of sliced hot links, jalapenos and cheese. My wife had the pulled pork with beans and slaw. Both meals were excellent! If you are going to the Route 66 Museum this is where you must eat. It's worth the trip. A small bar and grill ran by a couple on Historic Route 66. Note: This review was originally posted on Tripadvisor by Spike S.
