Ofelia's Italian Restaurant is a nice snug house turned cafe business. With its laid-back atmosphere amid its Italian decor, this could easily make for a romantic date night. The appetizers were a little deviating from any I have had the diversion of eating in any restaurant previously. A crisp cut basket of toasted garlic bread sticks made from Texas toast and served with Ofelia's freshly made marinara dipping sauce. The sauce was a terrific addition and it held the hunger pangs at bay while we were waiting for our main dish. Maybe I was starving, but only crumbs were left in the basket by the time the main dish arrived. The Shrimp Scampi was the dish of choice for this evening.
