Off Tha Hook Seafood and Grill in Abbeville

The owners are really sweet people. They really make you feel welcome. We went there for the nachos with shrimp and some soup. The nachos are some of the best you'll ever have. Our experience was not the greatest this time. The waitress, Garianna, did not make us feel welcome at all. Almost ruined our dining experience. She also wanted to charge us $5 for sharing. The nachos were on the dry side and were a little bit dry. Not much cheese sauce. The shrimp were awesome along with the corn. When checking out, Garianna, stood over my wife while she was entering the tip and didn't even show us the bill.

The service was great! The food was awesome. We all ordered different things, shrim and grits, fried fish, fried green tomato BLT, Hawaiian chicken sandwich. All of it was ,hot, fresh and tasted incredible! Waitress was very sweet and we truly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed this restaurant again. However, I do have one caveat - the pork chop sandwich, which was really good, was not boneless.

What an incredible find!!! My grilled shrimp was cooked to perfection, the salad was so fresh and the dressing delicious. My husband had the fried flounder which was also cooked perfectly. Everything about this place was so wonderful, we ate outside because we had our toy poodle with us. They didn't mind serving us outside even though we were the only ones out there. Great stop, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to any and all.

WOW. How have I not been to this place before last week. The food AMAZING. The customer service OUTSTANDING. We didn’t wait long at all for our food and it was delicious. The nachos were my favorite! We will definitely be back!

off tha hook seafood and grill is off the chain the best catfish filets I've have in a long time . my hunny said his bone in catfish was great . we really enjoyed our supper tonight was delicious. slaw hushpuppies and steamed veggies were also yummy . we will be back !!!

I get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say the service is always excellent and they keep the spot neat all the time. Pricing is fair and they serve sizeable portions.

Finally!! A seafood restaurant worth going to! Tonight was our 1st time trying this spot and will be back for sure! Coming from Florida where seafood was on every corner, it took some time to find a decent place up here. Great job Off Tha Hook!! Can't wait to become regulars LOL

What took me so long to eat at Off the Hook, I don't know! Now that I have I'm hooked! The flounder & catfish are both cooked to my liking, extra crispy or hard fried! The onion rings are PERFECT and I'm addicted to their slaw & hush puppies! At least once a week we either eat in or take out. It's take out only right now during the Coronavirus shutdown of restaurants except for take out. We are so thankful they are accepting take out orders. We are supporting our Abbeville Restaurants during this critical time for them.

We were disappointed. It was my birthday, and I asked to go there. I ordered shrimp, and really got an order of French fries-- very few shrimp. This after driving an hour. We will not be going back. Instead we stop at the Old Time Diner.

My wife and I went to this restaurant when passing through Abbeville, SC. We both loved the food there. We had the fried catfish, crab soup, fried tomatoes, beans, and cole slaw, everything was so delicious. The service was exceptional. The prices were very reasonable. We will surely be going back to this restaurant the next time we are in the area.

First timer. Stopped in for lunch. The catfish was some of the best that I have had. If you find yourself in the Abbeville area, take time to have lunch or dinner. You will be glad you did!

Small, clean, and cozy atmosphere. Service was quick. Our waitress was so sweet. The food was delicious! Started off with fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. I had grilled flounder, fried okra, FF, and hush puppies. Yum! My husband had fried oyster dinner with a salad. The potions were big. Everything tasted fresh. I highly recommend.

We arrived at this place for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff members welcomed us with a smile and we felt very good.
