This is the 2nd time I’ve visited Oliver’s Rooftop. Its biggest appeal is the scenery of a beautiful sunset over the bay. The drinks have always been great. I’m a fan of Moscow Mules and my Triple Berry Mule was amazing. They have their own version of firecracker shrimp they call “Don’t Give Up the Shrimp,” which was one of the best things I ate all night. Great amount of spice, nice plating, well executed. The lobster deviled eggs were surprisingly generous with a heap of lobster over each egg. However, finding a few small pieces of lobster shell in the made the last mound of meat hard to consume.Having visited a 2nd time I was most interested in seeing if the entrees had improved. My first visit the plating was pitifully remiss. This second visit was still mediocre with plating as well as flavor. First entree was the “Lacquered Salmon.” The salmon was fine. Just fine. The glaze was decent, but beyond the exterior nothing short of something I could make at home. Both visits the “seasoned” broccoli they serve as a side is over-boiled as though they expect to feed it to a toothless, picky, 3-year-old. The side of rice was also over cooked and clearly “seasoned” with some simple butter and salt. I would have recommended a risotto for some elegance and technique. Not worth a $30 plate. My Lobster Pasta was also mediocre. The brandy cream Parmesan sauce was flavorful, but reminded me s...

Thank you so much to the staff at Oliver's for making our rehearsal dinner so special on 1/21/22. We really appreciated how accommodating everyone was to our large group. Everyone made our night even better. Thank you!

This was my first time dining at Oliver's Rooftop and I was excited for the date night with my lady and for us to experience something new. The atmosphere was very nice and everyone was very friendly as well as we were accommodated when we asked if we could switch tables. I tried Chef Ricks Lobster Pasta and it was very good and quickly understood why it has been a signature dish for him and my lady ordered the Filet Mignon which was cooked exactly how she likes it. We had a beautiful evening and even afterwards as we were leaving one of the chefs was talking to us about our meal and thanked us hoping to see us again there. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
