One World Brewing in Asheville

Get the farmhouse! The farmhouse was a great beer and many in my group were raving about it. This bar has a cool vibe that screams private bar hidden in a basement. Not sure what the board game is but we had a blast playing on it. I could have stayed here all day but we were on an E bike pub crawl and could only stay for an hour. Make sure to check this place out if you are in Asheville!

Definitely off the beaten path down a back alley door then down some back stairs attached to a restaurant, it felt a little like entering a hobbit hole upon opening the main door. Kind of nice. I would like to tell you all about the quality of their beers, but I'm afraid I wasn't able to. When my wife and I walked in there this past Monday night, there were exactly six patrons in the bar. Two of them ordered a beer right as we entered and went to go play darts, while another couple sat drinking their beer in silence, and the other two at the bar chatted between themselves. This is important to understand my review. Six other in the entire bar, and after the first 30 or 60 Seconds of us arriving, no one asking for a beer. My wife and I sat down at a table directly across the room from the bar in full view of the bartender. After waiting a few minutes where the guy just kind of stood around I decide to go to the bar. After doing so I stood there for a few more minutes while the guy just stood at the end of the bar...

We had to check out a brewery when we were in town, and since we were short on time (considering it was just a day trip for us) One World Brewing popped up on our list. Since this was technically like the first bar that I've been to since the pandemic began...and well the pandemic is still going on, let's talk about the COVID-19 safety. In the basement, which makes this place so unique, there isn't that much space, but depending on if it's busy or not you could get here and have a ton of space. When we came here it was a little busy and there were limited places to sit, but we found a spot at the bar. The one good thing about here is that you can take your drink upstairs and sit outside, so if you're worried about COVID restrictions that's what's going on when I got there. The beer that I got wasn't bad, and it was a quick one. We wanted to get in and get out, as we had a drive back! I would say that the most memorable thing about this place is that well, it's a brewery...in a basement. I think just that would give you a reason to come visit.
