This was a huge disappointment. Ordered delivery, and since I have never eaten here prior--that was a mistake. 1. My food was cold upon arrival. 2. Orange chicken was barely sauced, bland, and dry. Also had no broccoli, which most Chinese restaurants include. I seldom order this dish, and only do it as a treat. Big disappointment. 3. Pork bun was dry. 4. Fried rice clearly had frozen peas and carrots in it. 5. No soy sauce (I asked for no utensils, but soy would have been helpful to add some flavor to the bland food. Maybe an off night, but again: very disappointing.

Mongolian beef, beef and broccoli- taste not good. Orange chicken so dry. Egg rolls were tasty.

Ok, so every city I move to, at the top of my "must-do" list is to find new local faves, of which I must have at least one Chinese spot. The Orient Restaurant is certainly my go-to in this area. Pros: - Good Service - Food freshly prepared - Quality food with good flavor - Very clean appearance (kitchen not readily visible) Cons: - Food freshly prepared. I appreciate they cook to order but they are suuuuper slow so be prepared to wait. That really is the only con aside from personal preference. I think in the 2.5 months I've been here, I've ordered 3 times from them and have been satisfied each time. My only "complaint", that isn't necessarily specific to them is that their Egg Foo Young has a sweet hint to it. I've noticed major variance in the way Egg Foo Young is prepared in general, but, a very distinct difference in how it's prepared and served on the East Coast vice the West Coast. The consistency of their Egg Foo Young is closer to what I know and prefer, but, not the taste. However, given the differences I'd still give it two thumbs up. If you're craving Chinese, check them out!
