Delicious, classic, “from-my-childhood” Chinese-American cuisine prepared so well. This has quickly become a personal go-to for delivery and takeout. They have their own fantastic delivery staff! Food always shows up hot, delicious, and on time.

Oriental Pavilion. I ducked into Oriental Pavilion and had the oddest experience. I went to pay and noticed that the price was considerably more than I expected so I asked about it. The young guy at the checkout said that their prices had changed but their menu hadn’t been updated. I asked him when he thought would have been an appropriate time to tell me. He told me I approved the prices when he brought the bill with my food. I asked for the manager and he said none speak English. Then he started taking the prices down but called me a witch and all the bad words that rhyme….. (1) The whole thing went down from there. I told him he has a lot to learn and I suggested that the next time someone orders that he tell them up front that the menu hasn’t been updated. He told me to leave the restaurant. I know we are in a pandemic and I know we should give grace, but I was nonetheless rather upset that he turned the whole thing around to be my fault. I was hoping to find a good Chinese restaurant near me. It won’t get to be this one.
