Yeah it's a chain but I like their steaks better than any other local steak house in Anchorage. I take my mom because the bread is her favorite. Service was excellent and very hospitable and kind to my elderly mother and me with a broken leg.

I came to Anchorage to see a doctor about my cystic fibrosis and pneumonia. The Outback Steakhouse is right across the road from where I am staying so I walked over to get dinner. I informed the person at the door I had pneumonia and had a cough, so could I sit in an area where I wouldn’t bother others. After being seated he came back and informed me they wouldn’t serve me. I told him I have a negative Covid test (and I’m vaccinated ) he said it didn’t matter. This is where propaganda and fear brings us to, a place where ignorance and prejudice are the norm. I have a lot of choices where to spend my money and the Outback chain will not be one of them.
