So I’m from out of town and decided to eat at outback because it’s literally a few yards from my hotel room. So I go there ready to smash me some steak. “ Table for one please,” and I was on my way immediately. I sit down and the waitress, who’s name is Katlynn, was there within seconds when I sit. I ask for a water and she brings it to me right away. I have an idea of what I want so as soon as she gave me the water I was ready to order. Had some fried shrooms and the porter house medium rare. Everything came out fresh and perfectly timed. The steak, which was a little more rare than I ordered ( which I love but don’t wanna freak people out because I love rare steak ) was amazing. Katlynn was great on timing and didn’t miss a beat. She even took a little time out of her busy night to welcome me to Ankeny and tell me about the city a bit. Superlative service and delicious food.
