Over The Top Frozen Yogurt in American Canyon

The Yogurt Shop is still closed took my daughters yesterday the other customers said it's been closed for almost a year Wow I guess Winter hit them hard now there is no yogurt in American Canyon at all bummer

If I could give this place negative stars I would. If you wonder why your small cup of frozen yogurt will cost you $4, it's because they're already charging you 4oz on top of what you got. Look at the scale, make sure it's at 0.00lbs at any self-serve establishment. They got me at 0.25lbs PLUS my cup. That's 4oz = $1.96. No wonder I paid over $4 for my small cup. I asked the cashier why the scale isn't set to zero and she said it is to account for tax. Uh no. Your POS system accounts for tax, not the scale. And she didn't want to tare the scale to zero. Plus the local sales tax of 7.75% of my $2 cup isn't $1.96! And, technically since this is a cold food product, my yogurt isn't even taxable in most cases (check with the BOE). They picked the wrong person to mess with as a former self-serve froyo owner. Though I would love to patroni...

They really need to work on the quality of the frozen yogurt. Staff is disinterested and the menu is very scattered. They've added a few Mexican snacks but haven't tried those yet. I've been to this shop a few times but most recently went in and ended up not purchasing anything. We sampled a few of the flavors, but they seemed like they would melt as soon as it hit the cup. There was no plain tart flavor. I always hoped that I would have at least a good experience one time, but never have. Only other place nearby in Vallejo would be Menchie's which is actually pretty good. I would like to support local businesses, but sadly this place does not deliver.
