Over The Top Waffle Shoppe in Richmond

A cute lil shop that sells waffles, ice cream, coffee, and blended drinks! They have in-store options and a drive thru as well. I heard this location can get busy, but I went on a Sunday at 3pm and there was no one inside! The great thing about this place is that I am on a diet and they not only have full waffle sundae options, but they also have a smaller junior option - that way I can still enjoy a dessert with less guilt (does it fall within my diet? This place is fan-freakin-tastic!  This is seriously worth all the calories. It's brilliant to use bubble waffles as the cone.The various flavors work so well together - thanks to genius who created this menu. We went like 15 minutes before closing and the customer service was great even after a long day for them. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We each ordered a bubble egg dessert. They are pretty clever with their menu items. Each of us were highly satisfied with our picks. You really can't go wrong with any of them. I also like the fact that they have a drive thru, but it's really cute inside too.

I love this place! The ice cream is so good and the cones are always fresh and warm. I always wait in the drive thru regardless of how long it takes, I like how the owners make it very clear it's for convenience and not a fast food drive thru. I'd rather spend my money here on pricier ice cream than at marble slab across the freeway. I think it's funny with reviews of people getting plain ice cream in the waffle bowl and complaining how it's so pricey and not that good LOL if you're not coming to go OVER THE TOP then why did you come to Over The Top? haha
