This was a routine place for me to order dinner when I was visiting Boca. I was getting Palomilla steaks, which is cube steak with raw onions, which I was into for a bit. It isn't a high end meal at all and I wouldn't say it was even that fantastic here, but it hit the spot when I was in a mood for it.The thing that kept me coming back was the quality of the sides. The rice was always fluffy and buttery, the black beans were just amazing - and I can't say I usually like them, and mixing them made an incredible combination. The plaintains always seemed perfectly cooked with the kind of oily sweetness and a little bit of crisp that made it easy to finish them off quickly. The service was always quick and friendly - but as almost all my meals were take-out you'll have to ask for utensils because they don't add them by default. Recommend stopping by the place if you're in the area and in the mood for some good cuban food.

Surprisingly very good Cuban food! I typically avoid Cuban restaurants outside of Miami but gave Padrino's a shot and was very pleased. The decor is very modern and cozy and had great service. They don't try to do too much or add extra "pizzazz" to their dishes which you typically see at Cuban restaurants so they can charge you more. Its very simple but well done classic Cuban dishes with great cocktails. Their Charrasco steak is PHENOMINAL as well as their tostones appetizer. Very good restaurant
