Pane e Vino is a restaurant that could be better. The food is ok, maybe good depending what you order. Service was poor (read below) but the prices are fine. The live music was awesome if just a little loud. We tried this restaurant not only because me and my wife love Italian food but also because she was told they had a good selection of gluten free dishes. This didn't turn out be true though. We sat down and quickly and I liked the live music and ambiance. But the glassy walls and modern look also lended to reflect sound so that it became hard to hold a conversation. Usually on date nights we talk, instead we sat solitary in crowd. Everything on the menu looks great. We spent plenty of time staring at it too since the waiter appeared to forget about us for a half hour or more. After a while we ordered a starter, a gluten free veal marsala and my dish of veal piccata (they used a different name). When the mains came is when things go...
