Panera Bread in Aquia Harbour

I'm starting to feel like a bad review stalker but it really isn't the case. Receiving good service is just as important as you receiving my dollars. This review is a two strikes with you. You don't even get a third. I've had my last meal at Panera bread located in Stafford Virginia off of Garrisonville Road. The first time I decided to quit them was their delivery service. I had a pizza that Door dash delivered to my home. Because I didn't answer the door immediately, it was left on my porch. No bag, nothing, just there on the porch with one seal, leaving many open edges around the top of it. Although it had only stayed there no more than 5 to 10 minutes, I was Livid! My orders before this day were always in a bag, even the pizza. I immediately called Panera bread to complain about how unsanitary it was to leave a pizza box sitting on the porch, knowing there's all kind of critters crawling around. Not to mention it could be sitting in dog Pee or anything being on the porch. My issue was more so why wasn't it in a bag in case it had to be left on the porch, as opposed to it not being protected. I was having a rough day and decided to get a bite to eat so I choose to dine at Panera bread and figured I'll dine in because "why not?" Best choice. The staff is super friendly, respectful, attentive and helpful it switched my mood. The food is always delicious at any Panera bread you go to of course but the staff at stafford market place will serve you more than just your food. Attitude really is contagious. Thank you. Something as simple as giving me my fruit cup as I wait on my meal and the overall sense of urgency to cater to the guests needs is very refreshing. All three of the employees I spoke to had a positive aura and I appreciate that in the service industry. Thanks again to Kaitlyn, Zack (I hope I got your names correct) and the other person prepping the food I wish I got your name but I appreciate you.

Double-check your order.   Triple check it.  Don't take their word for it and DEFINITELY don't take that useless little checklist they tape to the bag, that's just for show, it's absolutely MEANINGLESS. I sat there tonight and WATCHED the idiot who was supposed to be checking orders check all the boxes without opening a bag tonight, then, when I asked her about it, she lied to me to my face and said "she did."   (No, you didn't) Oh, I was there because I had to drive back to get credit for a salad they missed on MY order.  Why did I have to go in?  Because for some strange reason they can't credit the card on an online order if the card isn't present, which is STUPID.   Oh, and if you want to show your UTTER CONTEMPT for your customers, hang up on them over and over and over when they try to call in with a problem.  I got hung up on FOUR TIMES before I gave up and drove back to the restaurant - Good thing I did, because it's not like they could have done anything for me over the phone. Poor excuse for a restaurant staffed by useless people who are obviously not hired for their brains... I keep trying to give them another chance because my wife likes their salads...but I think at this point even she's given up on them..  (Because of course, what's the point of driving 40 minutes for a salad you like if they DON'T PUT IT IN THE DAMN BAG.)
