Papa John's Pizza in Anchorage

You can't be telling customers that their food will take 15 minutes. Then when I return in 20 minutes, you go ahead and let me know that my choice of meat is FROZEN so it will take another FIVE minutes. 6:33pm and I JUST got my food at 7:20pm. I even left a good tip and they could have been apologetic. Explains why even delivery takes awhile. I should've just did that like I usually do if I knew I'd still be waiting just as long. Either than that I enjoy the pizzas. Give it a try for yourself.

I ordered in for two large. When I opened the box, my pizza looked like this. Now I understand uneven dough can lead to odd shapes, travel can cause slices to detach, and all that. But you cannot deny, that the odd slice isn't just an odd shape, the crust should at least align no matter how uneven the dough shaping process may have been, yet it doesn't. Not only that but this is a thin crust pizza. One pizza was hot while this one wasn't, so I have to believe that this was a rejected or half eaten order, that they tried to remedy with another one, maybe staff pizza. I dont know, bottom line, I was given a replacement slice. When I called, the GM Ryan simply said to me that doesn't happen here, we wouldn't want to create more work for ourselves. Well it did happen Ryan. This is especially scary because we trust these restaurants to maintain the integrity during COVID, yet I can't even trust the establishment that I ordered directly from(the store, not postmates, not doordash) despite ensuring the pizza is deliver to me in person and not left at the door. When the driver of the establishment or workers, cant be trusted to not do what all the third party delivery companies are doing, should we even order food anymore for the duration of covid.

The driver showed up with the wrong order and instead of making a new order, they admittedly, just let my food sit there for 30 minutes and sent it out. The manager I spoke with just basically said, no big deal. It’s just your money we are wasting. The fact the manager is that careless is pathetic
