Far exceeded expectations. Probably the best airport food and service I’ve had ever. Had a long 5hr layover and ate lunch and dinner here - crab cakes and mac and cheese were good, but the Salmon Alexander was the star! Came with a tasty cream sauce and plump crawfishes and really good blackened shrimp. Bloody Mary’s solid here as well.

I am a huge fan of Pappadeaux, I even worked there for 2 years in the 90's. Having said this I left Houston in 1999 and this was my first visit in 22years. I visited the location in IAH domestic terminal. I was excited when I saw it because I had some time to kill. This location has a reduced menu but I wasn't very hungry and just ordered the gumbo. Sitting at the bar the staff were friendly and attentive. Gumbo was just as I remembered. Looking forward to coming again hopefully for some crawfish..
