Holy moly. This place is amazing. I had expectations and they surpassed them. Came in on a Sunday morning a little after they just opened with my girlfriend. We got:   -Kopi (I got it cold it is smooth and very similar to Thai coffee highly recommend) -Teh Tarik (the tea so delicious and refreshing) -Curry Laksa (wow what a huge portion! Be sure to either be hungry or share, spicy and creamy so bomb!) - Hainanese Chicken (this is what I wish I could make the chicken is moist, tender, and so flavorful, with the chicken broth and chicken infused rice you cannot beat this dish) - Roti Canai (comes with a Dahl, beef rendang and sambal all different flavor profiles all delicious) On top of this amazing AMAZING food. The price is competitive against other places like you are getting a bang for your buck. The food comes out so fast like less than 10. They are moving back there and it's amazing. The service is *chef's kiss* they are attentive and helpful!  This place knocked my socks off, I cannot wait to be back and try more. Please go and try this place out! (:

We have been coming to PappaRich for many months. The reason is simply this has to be the best Malaysian food in Houston, with very attentive service. Simply outstanding. The Nasi Lemak - Curry Chicken and Teh Tarik are incredibly authentic (I spent 6 yrs in Malaysia) and taste wonderful. This isn't all we've eaten here, there are many more Malaysian delights and everything has been awesome. I would highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic Malaysian experience. They also take time to address all the COVID needs, so no worries there either.

The first time I came to Papparich was sometime last year and I instantly fell in love with the flavors of Malaysian cuisine. This is the first time I have ever had Malaysian food and I am a fan! The must haves: ROTI CANAI!!! CHICKEN SATAY Beef rendang As an outsider who doesn't know anything about Malaysia cuisine, the flavors of the curries that come with the roti and the textures of the poori meets a paratha like roti itself are just enough for me to order 3 of those and call it a day. The three curries are all so flavor forward and bold but not too spicy like Indian or Thai food can be. The bread's texture is a little stretchy when you pull on it but it practically melts in your mouth when you bite into it. As you are eating it with the different curries it just start to take you on a journey that words don't do justice. If I had to pick just one dish it will have to be their roti canai. The chicken satay is very flavorful as well. It's not like the Thai restaurant style chicken satay that usually have ketupat, bawang goreng, or the acar. This comes with a peanut sauce like sauce and some cut up raw veggies. Somehow this combinatio...
