Pappas Bar-B-Q in Humble

Never can get my specialty order straight ‍♀️

I was there for New Years with my wife and was very excited to go. After paying for my order the wait was extensive and they didn’t even let me know when my food was done. Hate I paid $65 dollars on some food that wasn’t even worth it. My wife and I are huge fans or the Papa’s franchise especially PapaDeaux.. I won’t let one restaurant tarnish their name so I’m rating it a 1Star experience. Some one needs to hold that staff accountable for lack of responsibility and failing to give the customers great service. After my order the next family behind me almost went off for the extensive wait as well, and they had children with them. Pleas get it together guys….‍♂️‍♂️‍♂️

Two Stars For Service - Three Stars For Food I really want to love Pappas Bar-B-Q believe me I do. But, my two most recent experiences at two separate locations have left a lot to be desired. Let's get the good out of the way first. I love their burgers and fries. Their burgers are huge. Come hungry and leave satisfied. They are seasoned well. The vegetables have always been fresh on them. The hand cut french fries are as good as anywhere I've ever had them. They are excellent. What I can't seem to get past is just how slow their service is. I knew we were in trouble when we arrived and saw the line of cars wrapped around the building. I'd love to say that going inside was a better experience but alas, it was not. The line moves excruciatingly slow. We're talking snail's pace here. Once you do place your order, the waiting doesn't end there. When it was about 20 minutes since I had paid for my order, I decided to go back to the counter to see my order sitting in the window. I wonder how long it had been there? Why had they not called my name or paged my table pager? The world may never know. I'm not saying they're bad folks because they aren't. But they definitely need to step up their game and get the food out a little faster. You can do better Pappas Bar-B-Q!
