My food last night wasn’t good at all $80 down the drain ok so disappointed for real big shell in my crab cake I just couldn’t enjoy my food yesterday it’s like if you carry out they give anything when I set in food good should be good at all time when you paid this kind of money for food I’m really upset about this

Tonight my sweetheart and I decided to celebrate our first wedding anniversary at Pappas Restaurant and Sports Bar in Cockeysville Maryland. They are known for their crab cakes. Carla had heard good things about it. In 2015 it was one of Oprah's "favorite things". But what does Oprah know? She's from the B'more so what does SHE know about crab cakes? Everything! And in 2016 Pappas received "Best crab cakes in Baltimore" (now THAT means something too). LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, this place is the real deal! OMG! The regular 8 oz. crab cakes are flawless. They're just Jumbo lump crabmeat held together by a little (and I mean a LITTLE) bread crumbs and egg and nothing else. No salt, no pepper, just a faint hint of Old Bay and maybe brushed with a little butter for the broiler, I'm talking about CRABMEAT! JUST CRABMEAT! Sweet, succulent Jumbo lumps of crabmeat. We also had Clams Casino for our appetizer and crab soup, cream of crab (Carla) and Maryland crab for me. Both were delicious. We dined in the sports bar restaurant side only because we were unaware that there is an adjoining formal dining room side. Without a reservation we were seated immediately but we were told that it was a slow night. They do however take reservations. service was very good. The noise level was somewhat high, but no louder than any other sports bar. The formal dining rooms were quiet and the bathrooms were immaculate. The menu is expansive with everything from pastas to calves liver and onion. So the question isn't WILL I go back, it's When will I go back and the answer is, as soon as I can.
