This place is a gem.  There are not many options in Ashford and the food here is top notch for a small mountain town.  While at times the wait can be long it is well worth it.  We always recommend this place to family and friends that are visiting.

Steer away from the hotel, but give the restaurant a try. Salad - fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, light dressing. Gnocchi - pretty good, could have been served warmer. Texture was almost right, but the temperature made them slightly gummier than they could have been if freshly made or served hot. It is one of the better gnocchi I've had in the US, which says a bit because I grew up eating them in Argentina. Chicken kebab - well seasoned but just a tad dry. Liked the grilled veggies and potatoes that came with it. Polish soup (pictured) - plain/mild. Tastes like light chicken soup, with a few dumplings in them. Russian piroshki (pictured) - think flatter empanadas. They were fried, you can't go wrong. Cheese Danish - item I enjoyed most. Yummy and not overly sweet. Overall, decent place to stop for grub-- with almost non-existing service,...

Was completely unsure about stopping in. Menu is simple and ordering is easy enough. All orders are served in to go containers due to C19 restrictions. The actual restaurant is in the back and is a beautiful and ambient safe although I used at this time. We ordered chicken shush kabobs and borsht soup. Flavor was wonderful and the meal was overall worth trying.
