We live locally on the lake and just love the Parker House. The wait staff is very friendly and takes the time to get to know their customers and neighbors. They remember drink orders, and coffee preferences. It's fun to see someone for breakfast on the weekend and then see them later in the week dipping ice cream next-door and they say hi. What we love about living in a small town area. However, be prepared to wait and be patient during the summer season. They are busy! Which should tell you something. Worth the wait if you have the time. Great food and good people. Cabins look amazing, although we've never stayed there since we are just a short boat ride away across the lake. Wayne and Karen have done a phenomenal job rehabbing a tired old resort into something nice.

The review about them not cooperating with the mask rule is an absolute lie. The signage said quite the opposite. It's irrelevant now that things are lifted but wonder why anyone would want to try to ruin anyone's business. It's a nice small town restaurant that struggles sometimes like anyone else. If you dont have anything nice to say you shouldn't say anything. Just don't go back if you don't like itnn

Awesome breakfasts! Visited several times and never disappointed. Cinnamon bun pancakes, omelettes, traditional breakfasts were all done to perfection. The ice cream shop is great too. They change the flavors up pretty regularly so you have a lot of options. Favorites of our group were the Eskimo kisses, Blackberry, Banana Puddling, and Cherry. Too many good ones to list. Definitely give them a try!
