Their "Caribbean" pork sandwich will knock your socks off. Sounds weird to say their sandwiches are next level but they are. Award winning for a reason. I drive 20+ miles to get them. That's how good they are.

I wish I could give this place six stars....We visited Paseo on a Sunday afternoon after a visit to the Woodland Park Zoo. Looking for a warm meal we found Paseo! From when I was a young pup, slow roasted pork has always been a favorite. So let me tell you that even one bite into the soft bread and genius concoction of flavors, it came as a shock that pork could be better than I could have expected. Often, when I read restaurants claiming that their food is "the best" I admittedly roll my eyes. But this place sold themselves short in fact. I truly believe the Caribbean Roast was not just the best sandwich in America--I think it is a strong contender for best in the world. From my recollection of all the sandwiches I have eaten this sub truly sets itself apart and immediately became my favorite. And don't even get me started about the corn! The corn was a flavor explosion and a fun treat that is evident to all as I wiped the excess aioli from my nose and corners of my mouth. Paseo is a wonderful restaurant and maybe the happiest place on earth-- no shade to Disneyland. We will definitely be returning soon!
