Patrick's Pub in Apollo

I ordered and picked up pizza. It was better than average. Then I took advantage of their 'special' on a six pack of beer. 16 ounce Old Milwaukee in cans. I felt for $5, it was a good deal. Once I began drinking the beer, something didn't taste right. I looked at the bottom of the can and it was Dated Dec, 2019. This is August 2021! Pawning off old beer to paying customers is ridiculous and immoral. Who knows how old any of their other cans of beer are, until you buy it. Best thing to do is throw away old beer like that and take the hit, or you will lose customers like they did today. Then again, if they are afraid to throw away old cans of beer, how fresh can some of the food...

I went to the Pub today and I ordered mini pierogies and they tasted like oil butter and they were definitely freezer burnt. I told the waitress about it and she told me "Sorry you can get something else but I can't take it off the bill." And obviously I'm still hungry because that's all I got to eat. I wasn't gonna spend more money on something I might not like if I didn't like the first thing I got. She gave the bill and then tells us it's taken off after she told us 4 times she could not take it off. Would be nice if she would've told me she could take it off earlier so I could order something else. And there's this old lady that works here and my friend and I sat near the bar area at a table and she approaches us and says "How old are you girls? You can't sit here unless you're 21." I am 18 and we were causing no harm sitting at the table we were at. Also if you can bartend at 18 why can't I sit at a table next to the bar? Don't come here. Shouldn't even give it one star.

One of the best restaurants in town. Rated the finest pierogi pizza in America. Always delicious and friendly. Perfect for a cold beer after hiking the nearby river trail!
