Went on Friday night, soon as we walked in the door it smelled delicious! I ordered the clams and muscles along with a gin martini, my better half ordered some bruschetta and a prosecco. The martini was great but the minute the clams and muscles were set on the table I smelled the rotten clams and muscles! New right away it was the muscles I figured I could try and eat the clams not even close! I looked over at my girls bruschetta right off the bat I seen it was not served on a baguette but what looked to be sponge cake! The bread did not look grilled at all looks like they tried to toast it but was very soggy there was no cheese grated on top whatsoever but there was some nicely diced mushroom and basil, the bread was so soggy she could not eat it, the owner the guy is very nice I think he is great and the atmosphere was fantastic everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves but like I said the muscles and the clams were rotten the waitress did not notice that we did not touch anything on our plates so she did not even offer or ask if we liked it I didn't want to cause a scene so we just left so overall the place is fantastic to sit down and have a drink but I would be very leery of what you order

Good food, snarky waiter.

4.6 stars is roughly right. Great pizza alert - miles better than anything nearby. After disappointing pies elsewhere, I tried the very inconspicuous Peel & Press. Blink while going past and you'll miss it - but don't. I won't recommend any other place in West Seattle right now, save Proletariat.Toppings abundant. Cheese, way to be Peel & Press, you get that we buy pizza FOR THE CHEESE. And you do not disappoint. As for the dough/crust, very good, not bad, but look, overall it's very good. Price is a tad higher than Proletariat, and far more a value than Supreme.Look, this is probably West Seattle's best pizza right now. Unfortunately when all you guys figure this out, Ima have a much harder time getting my green pepper, onion and sausage fix.Peel & Press, you rock. I will be back soon and hope this awesome pizza was not a fluke. Looking forward to it again! Thank you!!
