It's your typical old school diner. Breakfast here has been pretty good on every visit. Their pie is delicious also and prompted this review. Unfortunately I will never eat here again as I found a tangled mass of whiteish fibers in the key lime my wife picked up for our dessert tonight. I was happily munching through my second piece and watching Star Trek tng when I found it. I was tempted to try eating more pie after excavating the strands, which may have been hair or part of a scouring pad; truly a strong testament to the pie itself. Ultimately I wasn't able to overcome the nausea and feeling of something stuck in the back of my throat, which I really hope is only my mind playing tricks on me. Half a pie in the trash and one less restaurant to choose from. Adieu Peggy's Restaurant
