They only serve one thing, pre-made Russian dumplings. It's one of the favorites for many of the locals. I must say though that my experiences here have made it one of my favorite places to eat on a budget. Even premade the dumplings are delicious though.

Amazing. This place was one of the highlights of my Juneau trip. I loved it. I loved every second of it.

During the Covid-19 re-opening stage they moved some of the condiments behind the counter so people wouldn't touch everything, which was great. The employee didn't have gloves or a face covering, but they did have all the chairs and tables stacked to the side and some social distancing markers, so some steps were still taken to protect customers. The food, as always, was delicious and only $7 each. A price they've held for years. While some places are charging $2.50 for just a can of coke, Pel'meni still charges only $1 for a drink. Fair prices and fast service, every time. One of my favorite restaurants in town.
