I occasionally go to Penn Station East Coast Subs for hot subs. I stopped by for a quick dinner this week. I'm always torn between their chicken Philly and cheesesteak. The cheesesteak won me over but PS chicken Philly is tasty as well. I got my cheesesteak fully loaded (sautéed onions, mushrooms, banana peppers, mayo, and spices). It's one of my favorite chain cheesesteaks in RVA. The fresh cut fries are a winner as well. They come out hot and crispy (generous portion). Service is usually hit or miss. It's parking available in a small lot. Penn Station is a good choice for hot subs. I give Penn Station East Coast Subs a 3.5 rating.
