While traveling to LA from MS our route took us through Jackson. We decided to get us some fish so we googled places to eat fish in the Brandon, Flowood, Pearl area. Penn's came up. We checked the hours of operation and if they had done in, carry out, and/or pick up and different locations. We headed to the one in Ridgeland. Wow! What did we find? Closed! So we headed to the location on Old Fannin Road. The website said open til 9 but since the other one was closed I decided to call. They answered so I knew they were open. Asked what time they closed and the girl told me 8:30. We drove on to the location. What did we find???? Drive through only! Ugh!! Will never waste our time trying to support this local business again!!

I am truly disappointed with this visit to Penn’s Fish! The fish was good and so was the okra. The fries were terrible! We purchased a family catfish with an extra side, fried okra, $56.46. We order this EVERY time we are home. This is usually MORE than enough for 5 to 6 adults. This time it was barely enough for 3 adult males. Not a satisfied customer!
