We wanted to like this restaurant. My wife and I had a light dinner here on a Thursday night when the museum is open late. We ordered four items and they all fell flat. Tomato bisque was very watery, spicy and salty. Tomato pie was smothered in mayonnaise (yikes!) and served barely warm, and Caesar salad smothered in dressing (mostly mayonnaise) and croutons of corn bread (too soft and not our thing). Pecan pie tartlet was decent. Total cost was $43 with tax and tip. We did not order any drinks--we just had tap water. We left most dishes barely eaten and we were hoping someone would come by and ask us how we liked everything. We like to provide feedback directly to the people that work in the restaurant so they can fully understand our concerns. But no one did, so we are writing this review. We hope they read it. We live in Asheville and eat out all the time. This place is new so we hope they will take our comments as an incentive to improve. We want you to succeed!
