I visited Pho So 1 on Saturday, 3/6/2021, and, for lack of a better term, I had a very...'unique' experience.Upon entry into the establishment, the staff was reasonably attentive and courteous. My friend and I were greeted in the lobby, and immediately ushered to our booth by a server who presented himself to be friendly and comical - he made jokes, laughed, and took our orders enthusiastically. However, shortly thereafter, things began to subtly decline. Upon receipt of my ice water, I noticed that there was a hole in my straw, as I was unable to sip any water from my cup. I immediately notified my server of this, and while he seemed willing to assist, he never returned with a functional straw. I blamed it on a communication barrier, and, in the midst of COVID-19, resorted to sipping directly from my cup, instead.
